Do you allow anonymous FTP?

We do not allow Anonymous FTP at this time to avert any security issues.

What is Anonymous FTP?

It is a special case of FTP, where users do not need an account on the server. By default, the account name for the anonymous access is anonymous. This account does not need a password. Although users are commonly asked to send their Email addresses as their passwords for authentication, usually there is trivial or no verification.

Anonymous FTP is generally used by Internet users access to huge repositories of millions of publicly-accessible files of software and data.
